Subject: connect 2 g5 macs

Question
i want to connect 2 g5 ,2 printer and a dongal that works a program on both g5,bearing in mind ive never tuch a mac in my life ,so in easy steps,as just trying to help a frind in need.

imformation to be able to pass both ways.
iwas thinking adsl modem to 8 port hub to printers

Hi Barmy

You want to get a Router, not a hub.

Connect each machine and printer to the router.

Open the Sharing PreferencePane on each machine and turn on Personal File Sharing.
Then use the Go Menu to connect.

Your Help Menu will also give you this information.
