Question Hello Jeff,
I want to download Internet Explorer for my Mac OSX.3.9 Dual 1.8 GHz
PowerPC G5. I do not know where to go or how to obtain it. Can you help me?
Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.
Answer Caroline,
Internet Explorer was discontinued by Microsoft years ago. I suspect you 'need it' for either a bank...or something very custom.
Banks and other institutions often will permit you to use firefox (an open source, free browser, that is far superior to IE.) The only situation where you're out of luck, is some sort of very custom webpage.
The Wikipedia page for IE <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Explorer_for_Mac>
(at the bottom there is a link to download from softpedia the last version of IE that microsoft published.)
