Question ok so i use linkinus for my irc software. and they just updated the software and
when i try to download the update it gives me this message.. "Linkinus does not
have permission to write to the application's directory! Are you running off a
disk image? If not, ask your system administrator for help." What do i do please
help
Answer Luke,
It sounds like you've mounted the disk image, but haven't copied it to your applications directory.
(If you don't know what I'm talking about, write back and I"ll give more details.)
If you do know, then I'd also recommend:
A) downloading it and installing it again
B) fixing permissions.
