Macintosh OS - video file conversion

Expert: David Anders - 11/6/2009

Question
Hello.
I have some video files, labelled as  imbt-xvid-t4-cd1.r00
I don't know how to convert them to a format I can view.
Can you advise me how to convert video files like this ?
On OS X TIGER. X.4.11
All feedback is much appreciated.

Answer
My guess it is a RAR file - special compression.
