Question
QUESTION: I have an old Mac G4 10.4.11 with Entourage

I am sending out notices. I want my friend to be able to click on the event and it will go to the website on the internet or you tube without putting an http:// in front of it. How do I do that?
Thanks

ANSWER: Unsure if entourage can do that.
Emails are sent in either plain text (then NO) or html then yes.
If you can edit the html code in Entourage
<-a href="http://google.com">Google<-/a>  take out the dashes
will produce Google with a hidden link to http://google.com

Thunderbird is free, you can't install a current version, but even the Ver4 would allow this.

Answer
You want to put a link in your Entourage email without a http://

The forum here - where you are asking this question will make a link out of this

<-a href=" http://google.com">Google<-/a>  <-- WITH DASHES

Google   <-- WITHOUT DASHES

You can do this in many places and many email clients. I do not have Entourage in front of me right now.  The Help in Entourage might help.
This Google might be of interest   "insert live link in entourage"
https://www.google.com/search?q=insert+live+link+in+entourage
this link inserted into the the same <a href     ></a> as above
