Macintosh OS/Google Chrome on iMac

Recent Google Chrome Calendar update inserted all holidays in green.
That takes up my usable space on monthly calendar.
How can I delete that unwanted intrusion?
I've tried the Help dropdown and the Chrome Extensions dropdown.

Mac OS X v.10.6.8

I'm unclear - are you talking about the Google Calendar webpage? If so, that's not an OS X question, that's a google question.

If you're talking about that you've added a google calendar to iCal, which is a Mac OS X question, then you just uncheck it.

I feel that you need a web/google person, not an OS X person.
