1. Can I transfer Microsoft Office using a hard drive to another mac?
2. What about to a PC?
3. How about any other applications?

Answer
HI Phillip,

1. Can I transfer Microsoft Office using a hard drive to another mac?

Apple makes a Migration Assistant that does exactly this when you go from one machine to another.

2. What about to a PC?

It seems to be that Microsoft doesn't offer a crossbreed, so no. You can transfer your documents.

3. How about any other applications?

Apple's Migration assistant takes care of most applications.
