Question
I recently upgraded to Yosemite. Now my iTunes will not open although it appears to be loaded. In trying to  get iTunes to respond I down loaded Java from Oracle to no avail However it has corrupted my start up with a warning that keeps responding each time I restart. Tried all kinds of thingsto no avail. Any hope for this old man and machine/

I don't know what went wrong - I do know that iTunes had an update right before Yosemite came out.

The Java update must have been something else - iTunes doesn't require anything from Java to work.
