Question
receive folder with question mark?  when booting,
want to load tiger on used mac book.  do i press
key combo when loading tiger?

what keys to press to eject cd?

Answer
Folder with Question Mark means that
The internal hard drive does not have a recognized OSX system.

Tiger is on a DVD, when booting you can
HOLD C key to boot from bootable DVD or CD
HOLD OPTION key to view boot manager and choose the drive to boot from

Test firewire, this indicates that the computer can boot if the right drive or CD is installed or connected
HOLD T key to test if firewire target mode works

IF the computer boots, you can drag the DVD to the trash which turns into an eject icon.
Many keyboards have an eject key in the upper right (line under up pointing triangle)
IF the computer does not boot, eject CD by holding down mouse button or trackpad clicking area when starting up.
