Macintosh OS/formatting

Hello David :

I have several flash drives/ memory sticks. They are formatted
for OS X EXTENDED. According to disk utility.

If I put an audio, or video file on this drive, can a
windows pc read the files, or transfer the files onto the PC ?
I took the drive to FED EX copy/ print shop. Their expensive
PC'S cannot read any  flash drive that was compiled on a Mac.
I find it difficult to believe or understand.
I want to swap files with a PC guy, but not sure how to do so !

Flash Drive Partitioning and Formatting.
GUID (GUID Partition Table - GPT) can be read by OSX and Windows newer than XP
ATP can be read by OSX
MBR can be read by OSX and Windows

FORMAT of partitions
HFS+ read and write on OSX and WIN w utility
FAT32 read and write on OSX and WIN
EXFAT read and write on OSX and WIN (files larger than 4Gb)
NTFS read by OSX - read and write on WIN

MBR Partition and FAT32 is most common to share between OSX and WIN
MBR Partition and exFAT is becoming more common

Utilities on OSX will allow writing to NTFS
Utilities on WIN will allow reading and writing to HFS+
