Question Dear Expert, 2-18-05
Hi! My name is Kyle. I'm a fifth grade student at Shadow Hills Elementry, and I also attend G.A.T.E. at Cynthia Mann. I'm researching on how to build a web site.
My question is"How do you make a web site?" First of all I'd like to know how exactly do you use a web editor and how do you use a browser.
Second, why are there different ways to build a web site
Why are there all these different kind of web editors and browsers?
Also, what other books would you recomend? What other experts would you recomend? What are the opinions of others on how to make a web site?
Please contact me by 2-28-05.
From,
Kyle
Answer Hello Kyle,
Visit www.macromedia.com - this is the site for the makers of Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is the professional software used to create webpages. There are many other solutions which exist. Each solution has its good points and bad points. Dreamweaver is user friendly plus works well with other software too; such as Macromedia Fireworks- which is a graphics editing software.
There are different solutions for the same reasons there are numerous brands of all products around us. For example: there are many phone service providers ex: ATT, Verizon, Sprint, etc...
It's the same with software - there are many brands and options which do the same thing - but one is more popular or easier to use than the next.
Visit amazon.com to locate books on webdesign- you can search and sort by top sellers in any catergory.
