Subject: creating thumbnails in dreamweaver mx

Question
hello,

i have been reading dreamweaver mx bible -

i think they said it will create a gallery -

of it is assuming you have a lot of JPEG's -

if you just have 1 or 2 photos - how do you

it.  i think bible book said it will involve

fireworks.  i have read a lot of dreamweaver

books - not too many really explain it

well - how do thumbnails - i just want to

make a thumbnail out of 1 or 2 photos - not

a lot - but i also i want to know how to

do a lot of photos, also.

frontpage is pretty straight-forward.

i have done it frontpage - but i want to

go in the dreamweaver direction - because

i believe dreamweaver is more the industry

type web design software.

if you have recommendation on good books

on this subject....

still learning

Answer
The entire dreamweaver manual can be accessed from the top help drop down menu located in the software. There are instrctions on how to create a photo album. Fireworks is not necessary. You just need to have your picures in one folder then use the create photo album command, and follow the steps. BUT read the step by step instructions from the dreamweaver manual.

Hoep this helps!
