Macromedia Freehand - Freehand 9.0 Logo Color Change

Expert: Huma Riaz - 9/16/2004

Question
I have Fh 9.0 and am trying to alter the color of a logo I purchased online.  I have eps, gif, and jpg files but can't seem to be able to seperate the different parts of the logo and/or change the colors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hello David,

It can be done if you have Freehand EPS. Open you file and un-group it so that you can modify it.

If you are unable to figure out weather the file is editable or not. Press the command 'Ctrl+K'. In 'Key line' mode if the file is showing the paths and shapes clearly(outlines only), you can edit it. And if the file is showing only a crossed line single box, it means you cannot edit it and its a picture.

Try that; Hope it will help, feel free to ask anything further,
