Question
Hi!
I was looking at computer monitors to use with my mac and was wondering if
you would be able to identify the monitor in the attached picture.  I believe it is
a 24 inch, but am not certain.  Any other suggestions for 24+ monitors for
reasonable prices?

Answer
This is HP. most probably 19" (hard to say) (http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/display/display/1/storefronts/RK283AA%2523ABA)

The price of the monitor depends on what you do. If you are occasionally use it for emails / internet you'd be absolutely OK with any of them. Just pick up the size you want.

If you are a pro user and need accurate colors or you spend significant time in front of the computer  - there are other factors to consider. Such as responsiveness, color representation, sharpness, contrast ratio, etc.

To give you an idea - I spend 2.5 k for each of my 2 23" monitors and I'm happy I did that.
But for me it's a professional tool.

Hope this helps.
