Question
I have at Mac at home witch has a DVD/CD player in it.

I was wondering would you please me: is the DVD player on computers the
same as the DVD player witch is connected to your T.V?

Thanks

Answer
The are one level up, in fact.
Everything that can be played on consumer dvd player can be played on computers.
Some computers formats can't be played on DVD.

Computer also is capable to read disks that are scratched (to the certain degree) and can't be read on DVD player.

Hope this helps.
