Question
I have been watching MAD TV for a year so far.
I first started watching when I saw Stuart, Michael Micdonald. He is a great actor. Well, I turned on the TV and I happened to be watching MAD TV with Stuart and thats the reason why I watched this show. Their are many other great skits, but for my opinion this is the best. Mostly, everyone I know says this is the best skit. I was wondering why theirs not many more skit of Stuart? I would say if you had this alot more often you would have a better success in your business. Well, that is just my opinion of your show. You have a great show and wonderful actors.
                         Thank You for your time,
                         Ethan Arendt

Answer
Hi Ethan,

This is Michael McDonald's 7th season on the show. And the 7th season using Stuart. Stuart has appeared on the show almost 40 times over the last 6 to 6 and a half years. The producers don't want to overuse all of the recurring characters. They have it down to at least 4 or 5 appearances from the recurring characters a season so that the excitement and novelty at seeing these characters isn't lost. I have to agree with that. Would seeing Stuart and the others more be better for the show?. I don't think so. The show is in it's 10th season, and has already been renewed for an 11th and 12th season, and it regulary beats SNL every week in the all important 18 to 49 demographic. I think it's doing just fine. Thanks for writing.
