Question it has been written that at the 1991 oscars performance, madonna physically lifted rac clark(a stage manager) off the ground with her hands around his neck before she took the stage.steve pond wrote this in his book about the oscars. is this exagerated?,or is she actually that strong,and did this actually happen? maybe the guy is not that big...anyway,i trust you more than steve pond,thanks angie!

I honestly don't know if this is true or not, and it's one guy's account of what happened for a book, so that makes me a bit suspicious. I'm one to not like to believe in such rumors, especially in such cases where one guy says it happens and there's no way to prove or disprove him. It is true that Madonna is very powerful, and I don't see it beyond her to be able to lift a guy up off the ground, and the current Madonna admits that she has acted stuck-up and bad before in the past.
Sorry I can't help you much here. I personally choose not to believe in such things, as I've read such accounts before from other authors who've written about Madonna, and they turned out not to be true. (for example, one guy wrote that Madonna bossed her dancers around in her 1987 Who's That Girl tour, and one of the dancers personally told me that it wasn't true at all!).
