Answer It is basically just another type of magic. It just revolves around "mind reading" and mental feats rather than cards or animals. If you are interested in mentalism, I would first check out what your local library has and if it is still appealing, I would recommend buying "13 steps to mentalism." It will give you a firm idea of what mentalism is and give you a good foundation to work with.
