Question Hi, John. I am an intermediate magician and there's one act I haven't found a good technique for: disapearing. I need a way to make my only assistant disapear from a fairly open venue (no side stage). It would be nice if this could be done relatively inexpensively.
Answer Hi Ian
There are many many ways to disappear ... and the method you choose will be determined by many things: the situation, your knowledge, budget, available assistants, audience position, numbers, lighting etc etc etc.
With no side stage ....is not a problem ... but I'd need to know more about rear stage, audience size and position as well as the precise context ie what happens immediately before and after and WHY is the vanish happening.
SO ...let me know and I'll describe the best vanish for your needs.
