Question
Hi John. How does Criss Angel perform his miracles? I've read his book Revelation and it's still a mystery to me. I study and practice magic too, but it doesn't come close to what he does.

It's great that you find magic and magicians you admire and love their work enough to want to follow them.
I've not seen his book 'revelations' ....so unable to comment on that.
Criss uses old, ancient methods and then adds his own flavour! I haven't seen him do much that's new.... so look top the Masters of magic for the answers.
What other books have you read? Which other Masters of magic have you seen, heard about, admire?
As far as any methods are concerned, I DO share these in conversation and discussion with other magicians and learning magi ... but NOT in the open mode you haev asjked this question in. Please write in private mode if you want to discuss methods!
But I will say that Criss merely uses the same as me and other magicians! He has a combination of skills including design, concept, timing, misdirection, psychology, performance .. playing on the assumptions, presuppositions and expectations of the audience. The correct combination of these creates the illusion in your minds!
