Question
After a 2:30pm graduation from UMO  where if possible is a good close by diner type food/family friendly for 10 people.  Not close by the college as this is the largest class they've had ..we feel everywhere will be packed.

Answer
Hi Colleen,

I assume that UMO is University of Maine in Orono.  Since I no longer live in the area, I am not up to date on restaurants and accordingly am a bit reluctant to offer very much.  I think your best bet would probably be to try something in Bangor.  There are several restaurants in the Bangor Mall right off I-95.  Another restaurant, which I hope is still there and I hope is also still good, is Captain Nick's on Union Street in Bangor out near the airport.  Have your graduate check this out and see if that would work for you.  I think if you call in advance they could set you up for the large party of ten.  Very good seafood and usually good selection of other foods.

Sorry, I can't be of more help.

Kindest regards,

Tom Webster
