Subject: GE Profile Dishwasher stuck in wash cycle

Question
We have a GE profile dishwasher (model GSD4320Y73BB) which sometimes gets stuck late in the wash cycle.  Last night it ran for about 2-3 hours and built up enough heat to cause the counter top and sink to become quite warm to the touch.  We don't use the dry cycle at all and we don't use rinse aid solutions.  We can manually advance the timer knob past this point and the cycle continues normally.  This only happens occasionally.  Thanks for your advice.

Answer
Sounds like the timer contacts are sticking causing the problem.  Part number is WD21X10002 and your cost is 84.95 in new.  I am currently sold out of good quality used.  Shipping would be 6.95 in the United States.  Should you choose to order, follow this link:  http://www.affordableappliance.com/orderform.htm   If you have any problems, concerns or need further information, feel free to email us or call 1-570-622-6441.

Waiting to hear from you,
Eric Campion
