Question Hi Eric. We have a kenmore slide in oven/stove top, model number is 629.46795895. When we use the oven, it is blowing hot air out a vent at the top of the door. It's the strangest thing, and not welcome as we're in Hawaii and it's plenty warm already. I checked the Sears website for a manual, but no hits on that model number. Any suggestions?

Answer All oven/ranges emit hot air. Some come out of the rear burner others come out vents. If they were not vented, the door would keep popping open allowing the heat to escape. Hope this answers your question....
