Question QUESTION: I have a Kenmore Elite microwave model 721.80869400 that keeps displaying an F-9 error every time I try to cook something. What does that code mean? How do I fix the microwave?
ANSWER: The model number you have submitted to us is incomplete or not correct for your unit. Try it diorectly in sears and they say it is not good.... QUESTION: The microwave is a Kenmore Elite Ultra Wave Microwave Hood Combination the model number is 721.80869400 serial number is 411KM00470. The model number and serial number came from the plate on the microwave. There was no series or batch numbers on the plate. Thanks for your help!
ANSWER: You must have transposed a number in the model number.....
Answer Thanks for the model number......I have determined your unit was manufactured by LG for Sears.....There is no cross telling which LG model it is comparable to so I am not able to help you. When searching for help, simply knowing it is an LG product should guide you in the right direction. Had I had the LG model number, I could pull up the entire service manual.
