Question
We have a Model W131 Jenn-Air Self-Cleaning Electronic Wall Oven. It has never worked well and we use it very infrequently, as a result.  It is in near-mint condition but we have had a number of control pad issues.  The night before last, the fan in the oven began running on its own.  The only way we can turn it off is to turn off the circuit breakers.  Is there a manual switch to turn it off or is there anything else we can do to repair it?  Thanks in advance for your advice.

Answer
Since you do not use it, you can disconnect it.  Best would be to diagnose the problem and repair one of the thermostats that control the fan coming on.  As the temp rises in the control panel, the fan comes on.  When the thermostat is out of range, it comes on prematurely.  Got a voltage meter and know how to use it?
