Major Appliances/electric oven shuts off much too soon

We set Estate oven to heat for 3 hours, but it shuts off at 1 hr.
What can cause this?  Can we remedy this without serviceperson?
Q.   On the range part of same appliance, the larger 2 burners
sometimes heat much too hot, and sometimes not sufficiently hot.
What is likely cause? Can we remedy this? The appliance was bought 4 years ago, new. Circuit board was replaced 3 yrs. ago.
Whirlpool Estate model #TEP315VQO   serial #RY3343027.
 Thanks,  Mel

Automatic oven settings are tempermental and must be set correctly.  Have you tried it again with the same results?  Be sure you set the controls correctly before condemning the units control.  That is all it can be.  As far as the burners, Check the receptacles by unplugging the burner and then shining a bright flashlight into the receptacle and look for burnt connections.  If the connections look good, it is mot likely the burner switches.  Let us know what you find and we will instruct further,'Eric
