Question
QUESTION: Ice maker was not working.  Red light on control board was blink-blink-blink pause.  I replaced the icemaker with P/N 2198597.  Installed the new icemaker, and light changed to blink-blink pause, blink-blink pause continuously.  Replaced emitter sensor boards P/N 4389102.  Plugged the refrigerator back in, and it is still is blink-blink pause continuously.  Taped emitter door shut and still blink-blink pause.

Please advise what to do next.

ANSWER: IS there water in the ice maker mold?  If not, I use a turkey baster and put water in the ice mold.  Wait several hours and tell me if the ice maker dumped the ice cubes.

QUESTION: I used turkey baster to add water.  Waited over night and did not dump ice cubes.

Answer
Blink blink tells me to replace the emitter and receiver.  Perhaps the set you received were defective.  I would call the company and see if they will replace them for you.  Good luck and let me know how you made out and the final result.
