QUESTION: The model number of the dishwasher is 665.16059400 Serial FR4603789 Type 577-0 Stock 16059
Thanks for the model number..... Your unit was manufactured by Whirlpool for Kenmore. IT is a very good unit. Several reasons could be possible on this unit....Water level could be too low and to verify this, start a fresh cycle and when you hear the water stop entering the machine, add about another gallon. Turn it on and tell me if the swooshing you hear on the inside is more defined and more forceful. If it is, you most likely do have a water supply problem/. The hose you attach to the dishwasher water inlet valve will need to be removed and then look inside the valve itself and check the little screen in there...this could be partially blocked. If on the other hand, adding water did not produce more washing force, you will have to disassemble the pump/motor assembly from the inside and check the screen inside the pump housing and verify the impeller is in tact and working properly.... Let us know what you find and if we can help further.
Waiting to hear from you,
Eric and Ann Campion
