Major Appliances/gas oven repair

Our gas oven was heating but the cook time was slow about twice the normal time. (Example: Cookies - normal time @350 10-12 minutes took up to 25 minutes.) I replaced the old ignitor with a new one with no problems.
I cleaned out the gas ports with a stiff wire will I was in there.

Now the new ignitor gets white hot and I can smell the gas but no flame. (We had flame with the old ignitor.)  Got concerned after about 70-90 seconds due to the gas smell and turned the oven off.
Burners on the top work fine.

Is there anything I can do to repair this short of calling a repair person?
