Major Appliances/Dishwasher

Question
I have a Kenmore 665.16872000, it makes a whining noise in the wash cycle.

Answer
Noise is most likely coming from the motor/impeller assembly.  If not cleaning dishes well on this unit articles  not cleaned go down into a sump area and are trapped...while thin items such as a bread tie, tiny bone, shirt pin, etc.....something small goes into the opening and when running, is protruding into the impeller area.  How does the unit wash other than the noise?  If good, start from the top and disassemble the pump motor assembly from the inisdie of the dishwasher and find the annoying noisemaker.  If I can help further....I am here....
