Major Appliances/Thermador error message F33

Question
Hi Eric, we just were broiling something on our Thermador wall oven and we got an error code F33, basically cooking temperature too high.  I cut power at circuit breaker, hopefully to reset.  What is the chance this could be a "one off" event and doesn't occur again?  It's about 8 years old.  Thanks!

Answer
Hello Peter,
Most often that error code (Whici is not written in stone indicates an oven sensor failure or failing....  Sometime it is just a fluke.  The oven sensor is the little probe sticking out of the rear inisde wall.  If resetting the unit does not correct the problem, measure the resistance of the oven sensor and reply telling me what it is......  I'll see what I can do for you......

Waiting to hear from you,
Eric and Ann Campion
