Question
Frigidaire Oven/Range ModelGLGF389GBB Ser.VF80832521
When you turn on the oven it doesn't ignite immediately. I can see the glo of the igniter and I smell gas. On turning off the oven and then setting it for bake again I saw the glo and it did ignite and reach operating temp. Thanks in advance. Ralph

Answer
The ignitor sends amperage to the gas valve to open it....when they are failing they are not producing enough amperage to do the job efficiently .... yours should come in between 3.2 amps and 3.6 amps.   We do sell the ignitors...cost is $54.95... thank you and should you need further advice just ask.... Ann

price online shows $59.95... I will give you $5.00 if you say you found us at allexperts... making it $54.95...
