Either this is a true coincedence or there is more to the "yours is unique" response. My stove just started doing the same exact thing. Past experiences with "sophisticated products" are that there is a common problem that the manufacturers do not like to talk about. Is this the case?

I have the same problem with the F1/F7 code on the SVD48600 Series Gas-Electric Grill Range.  I read another message on another site that said that it would stop with the oven door open and ...it sure did.  This certainly is not a permanent solution..but I may get some sleep tonight.
