Question
Hi, I swear my foundation changes color by the end of the day.  When I put my makeup on, it looks great.  I do the powder touch-ups throughout the day.  At the end, however, my face looks darker and has the tinsiest orange tint.  When I wash my face at night, I look a whole shade lighter...when the foundation matched that morning?  What's the deal?  It's been driving me crazy for years!  I'm bi-racial (white/black) with really oily skin.  Thank you!

Answer
Hi La,

It's very very possible that the reason for your 'color changing foundation' is because of your oily skin. When you put on your foundation in the morning, I'm sure it looks fantastic - and then throughout the day because your face is producing oil, it probably looks streaky, and more like the color of your skin instead of foundation.

So, my question for YOU is - what are you using for skin care? If you limit the amount of oil your skin is producing by using the right skin care products for your skin type, you're limiting the chance of your foundation running off your face.

So let me know, and we can try to remedy that together. In the meantime, you can use oil blotting sheets throughout the day. You press them onto your face in different areas and it soaks up the oil without ruining the make up.

Talk to you soon!

Sarah
