Question Dear Sir/Madam,
my wife and 7 year daughter got bad burnt by over exposure to our mediterranean sun when the UV index was 11+....can you recommend something I can do to alleviate their pain and discomfort pls.

Answer Hi Paul Fava,
I would first slather every inch of their sunburns with 100% aloe vera gel. You can find this at any grocery store or drug store.
Apply the aloe every few hours until the sunburn comes down. The point is to keep it very moisturized! The aloe will help with the pain, heat and future peeling.
You can also fill a bath with tepid water, and add in about half a gallon of milk and/or oatmeal. This will help greatly as well.
Next time, be sure to use sunscreen and to reapply throughout the day, it's very important!!
