Question
I have a real lot of white facial hair on both sides of cheeks and chin,it is like peach fuzz.
Some of the hairs are long.
My whole side of face is covered by this fuzz.
What causes it or what can get rid of it besides shaving or plucking which I don't want to do.
I look like a hair person, that god it is not the black hair.
HELP!!!!

Answer
Hi Debbie,

When removing hair, there is always a chance of it growing back, no matter what method you use. And when it grows back, it could surely be a different color and texture than what it is now. So, your baby fine, bleach blond peach fuzz that's on your face could grow back a little darker, or it could grow back a little less-fine than it is now.

My suggestion would be to get it threaded or waxed off, followed by using a hair growth inhibitor daily, like Vaniqua, which can only be prescribed by a doctor or dermatologist. This will be the most beneficial and the most effective. There are other, less expensive hair growth inhibitors, but they are not as strong as Vaniqua, and won't give you the best result possible. Gigi has an okay one, called Slow Grow.

Another option is to just get it waxed - yes, you may be red and irritated the first time, but I promise you your skin will get used to it and it will be much better going forward.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sarah
