Question QUESTION: Hi!
I have lots of freckle on my face and i have quite oily skin, but in certain areas it goes dry.
i have always been confused about what make up to buy, and i always find myself buying all the wrong make up, which i end up wasting my money on.
I have tried hard to find the right make up and i really need some for the summer holidays and when it gets hotter. i want to buy if possible some lower priced make up (not too expensive) as i don't have much money to spend on it.
As i have a freckly face the make up always comes off and my oily skin looks horrible. i am 13 and don't want to look like i have been sweating.
Please can you recommend any make up for me that will stay on for a day at school. Thanks in advance

ANSWER: Hi Catherine,
From what you described (skin type, budget, lifestyle) and since I work for Sephora which we have plenty of good skincare and makeup for you to start out with without breaking your bank. I would recommend the Foundation powder by Sephora. There are many different shades to choose from whether you have a pink undertone or yellow undertone you will find what matches your skin best! The product is $20.. this may seem like a higher price point than most makeup brands at grocery or drug stores. I want to ensure you though.. that foundation is one of the things that you must spend money on beside "good" skincare. It will rest your face everyday that you wear makeup, it creates the whole look, and most importantly you probably don't want foundation that will make you look cakey or clog your pores, right? Well this foundation powder by Sephora is oil free and you can get an amazing coverage with this. It really depends on the coverage you want, if you want a lot/full coverage (full coverage means lesser that you can see of your own skin), then use the sponge that comes with in the compact. If you would like to get more of a natural everyday look, then use a soft round brush or a flat top brush for semi full coverage. A lot of younger girls come in Sephora to buy this... it is equivelant to the Studio Fix product by MAC but the Sephora brand will NOT make you break out or get clogged pores from it. It's super easy to use too and I think you'd enjoy it! You will need to go in Sephora to have one of the product consultant do a color match for you.. it will only take literally ONE minute! Of course, if you have more time or money to spend I would highly recommend starting out with some good skincare, for your age..you'll only need good a moisturizer that will help reduce the shine on your face and also hydrates the area that is dry as well. And a cleanser that will take off your makeup, the impurities, and dirt that is on your face. By the way, Sephora do make their own brand of Skincare line as well that will be fabulous for someone like you who's just starting out using good skincare.
Hope this help you!

QUESTION: Hi again. I think this is probably a very silly question but where is your closest store to dartford?
Thanks

Answer You can visit www.sephora.com and go to store locator. You can also order the product online and anything over $50 is free shipping (plus 3 samples of your choice!) I would hope that you can go into the actual store, that way they can help you find the right color match for your powder foundation.
