Makeup & Skincare - I'm Blonde!

Expert: Linda Gearke - 10/16/2009

Question
I am a blonde with fair skin, blue eyes, and a scattering of freckles. I need make-up i can wear to school that won't overpower me, or show all my blemishes. I have low acne, but i still need something to cover that up, bring out my eyes, and not be too extremely expensive! I hope it's not too large of a request.

Answer
Hello Lindley~

Here are a couple of good concealors that are known to be exceptional:  Smashbox Camera Ready Concealer, Stila Cover Up Stick.  Both typically priced under $20 US  Foundation should be applied on top of concealer.

Try Loreal's Mineral Make-up and concealor. Their powder is great as well. This can be found at any drug store or Big Box store.

On the higher end, you might like Lancome's 16 hour wear liquid foundation. It stays put all day.

If you have a Sephora's in your area, I encourage you to go to visit and have one of their representatives help you select the best make-up for your skin...they can help to color match to your skin tone as well.

Best of luck!
