Question I am trying to schedule a day of pampering for my sister who is graduating from college in two weeks. One of the services I would like to include is a facial. Neither she nor I have ever gotten one before but I do know that your face may be a little blotchy afterward. I have two questions that I believe will help me set our spa schedule. The first is how many days will it take for any redness from the facial to go away (if we have a facial on Thursday will she be OK by Monday)? Second, I am also considering an eyebrow wax, should it be before the facial or on a completely different day? Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!
Answer Hello Brooke,
Congratulations to you and your sister both for deciding to have your first facial! Any redness should subside in one or two days after the facial, unless you have extremely sensitive skin. Eye brow wax can be done on the same day as your facial service, your facialist can decide if she prefers to wax before or after the facial.
