Question Hi Tyla,
I am 19 years old and have naturally very pale skin. Is there a way to use bronzers properly? Every time I try to use tans, tanning moisturisers and bronzing powders/creams, the result is tacky and makes my skin (especially my face) look dirty, even in photos. Normally, I would just leave my skin pale but I feel so crap every time I see Miss America where the tans are dark and perfect. Also, what makeup would look good with tan? When I decide to leave my skin pale, what colours will stop it from looking so washed out and boring?
Any advice here would be much appreciated.
Answer Because you are so pale the traditional bronzer's wont work on you, they will do exactly what you describe above. Try something that is more peachy golden, or apricot in color, not a bronzer per se. A fabulous "bronzer" from Nilens Jord (Danish brand - I have no idea how international it is) and at first it looks more like a shimmery powder but for pale skin it is the perfect bronzer!
