Question
Hi,

I am 37 years old and unfortunately aging!  I do not have wrinkles, but definately have dark circles under my eyes that drive me crazy, as well as freckles and sun spots.  I am wondering if there are products (such as foundation, powder) that not only last througout the day, but are water and sweat resistant.  I live in a very hot and humid area.  Makeup can look bad and cakey in a hurry out here.  I spend alot of time outside due to my kid's activites.  What products are there that are good for the coverage I need, last through sweating but don't look cakey or overdone?  Thanks!

Answer
I am about your age, I live in Miami, and here is what I do.  I use and anti-aging facial cleanser that exfoliates gently, try the Olay Regenerist Cleanser.  Then I use an Alpha Hydroxy Moisturizer with sunscreen in it for the day time and an anti-aging night cream for nigh time.  As far as makeup goes, if I use foundation I use a mineral powder foundation.  One that's pure minerals, with no added talc or anything in it.  Mineral powder foundations naturally have sunscreen in them, they are healing for the skin, and it doesn't ever look cakey on me because it works to absorb some excess oils and moisture on the skin throughout the day without being drying.  I apply it very lightly though.  It has a decent lasting power, but the nice thing is- if you do reapply at some point during the day lightly it won't look like you have way too much on.

Hope this helps- good luck!
