Subject: Skin toner or astringent

Question
If there is a difference between a toner or astringent.  I believe I need a toner because it seems milder than an astringent.  But you can correct me if I am wrong and tell me which one I need.

I have normal skin.  Correct me if I am wrong, but I am thinking all skin types need a toner or astringent.

I am running out of my toner but its expensive.  I was looking for a less expensive one but effective one.  If you know of something natural and easy to use like witch hazel that would be even better. Is witch hazel a good toner?

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Sallie,
I don't believe there is a difference between toner and astringent (but I'm not positive). I use astringent from Clean and Clear which is cheap and effective. You can get one for acne or just very deep cleaning. I've heard witch hazel is good to use. I hope that helps and feel free to email any more questions!
