what is the name of the job of people who make movie trailers? Thanks.
The people that make movie trailers end up having the same type of job classifications as are found in motion picture making.
There are directors, producers, executive producers, writers, editors, foley artists, sound mixing, research department, sales & marketing, payroll and so on. The reason for this is sometimes movie trailer production houses actually create trailer sequences from scratch, and all the same type of production personnel can sometimes be required.
More frugal methods for making a movie trailer require editors who have learned how to wear many hats.
