Question Is it possible to edit video tape from an old analog film camera on digital video editing software? I was thinking of learning the process with the analog camera before I buy a good DV camera.

A film camera's footage has to first be developed by a film lab, then transferred to a videotape format before any type of video or digital editing can be done. If you meant to say "old analog video camera" then you'll need to provide me with the videocassette type that your camera uses and then I can probably help you.
