Question
Hi. We are from the UK and are travelling to Singapore on 1st May to 30th May. In between that time we want to visit another destination. We have two children aged 4 and 3, and do not want to spend too much time travelling around. The idea is to spend time in Singapore sight seeing and spending time with friends and then chilling out elsewhere. We've been told to go to Puke and relax there with a river cruise and there is a cultural show. I want to know more about Malaysia and easy ways to get there with kids and what we could there, some soft adventure a show, and most importantly relax! Help!!

Answer
Hi Meeta,

There isn't any place by the name of Puke in Malaysia.

For your trip to Malaysia, I would strongly recommend Mines Wonderland Night Theme Park, about 40 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur. This theme park will definitely be a time where your whole family will enjoy more so your children. There are many rides that your family can take. There is a musical fountain and cultural show in the evening. Find out more about this place at the following URL:

When you are in Kuala Lumpur, you can also visit the Butterfly Park, Bird Park, National Zoo, Twin Towers, KL Tower, Chinatown, Central Market and Bukit Bintang Shopping Area.

Putrajaya Cruise will also be an enjoyable time for you and your family. The URL is:

You can come to Malaysia by AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines or SIA. If you prefer coming to KL by coach, Aeroline is a good coach to take. Read more here:

Have a good time in Malaysia.

Regards,
Michael
