Expertise
I can answer questions regarding characters and storylines. I can sometimes give spoilers, and can always summarize (or go into details) about any episode you wish. I cannot give information on songs played during the episodes, nor can I tell you where you can download the episodes (but I can give you the latest DVD release information).

Experience
I always watch the show, and constantly visit fansites, the official site, and other resource sites.

Question
When will they be releasing seasons 2 on DVD? It has taken so long.

Answer
Courtney, that's a great question, wasn't the first season great?

Here's what I know: Originally the second season and the first season in Region 2 was set to be released in August, 2004. Obviously that didn't happen. They haven't decided against it, I'm told, but rather have it on the back burner.

A new lady just became president of Fox about 18 months back, and that was when things were going to start happening in August. Obviously that didn't happen.

The next date I heard was January, 2005 for season 1, region 2, but no new news on season 2.

There was also an August, 2005 date being tossed around. Right now, the current speculation is July, 2006; most likely, all the seasons will be released as a box set, wtih season seven likely the last. However there is no concrete evidence of this theory.

If you're not aware, the original hold-up was due to music licensing issues; Fox had only purchased the rights for TV broadcasts, not for DVD. I've come to understand that at this point, all the rights have been cleared and Fox is waiting for a good, strategic time to release it.

In the meantime, if you're in the US, check your local Fox, UPN, and WB listings; one of them most likely airs the series in syndication, which will let you at least see the eps till the discs finally come out.

Don't forget season 7 begins September 30 (Friday!) with "Burning Man" at 8:30/7:30C on FOX!

Thanks for asking!
Sam

PS-if I've answered your question in an extraordinary manner, I would appreciate a nomination for Volunteer of the Month. If not, I'd appreciate if you could tell me what I could improve on.
