Question I'm also going to Malta in September; however, I'm in an electric wheelchair. Can this country assist people in electric wheelchairs?
Answer Hi Monica, although in the past years there has been a marked improvemnet in this area and most public establishments are now wheelchair friedly, the pavements still leave a lot to be desired.Also, we are in the process of changing the busses so a few are wheelchair friendly but most aren't. sorry if this put you off Malta! however, the maltese are extremely good and friendly people and they will be willing to lend a hand if you ever find yourself in difficulty.
