Question I'm going to malta in october for 1 week with my mum and two daughters. is it only euro's we can use. It is half board how much english money will we need.

yes we use euros now. if you get any other currency you will have to exchange it in a bank or an exchange bureau which are everywhere! i am assuming that you only need money for a snack a day and other holiday expenses such as travelling, entry fees to interesting places etc. don't know how old your daughters are but i'm assuming they are kids.
i would budget for eur25 per person per day at least. you will be able to make it with less but then it all depends what you want.
