QUESTION: hOW DO i FIND EXACT HISTORICAL DAILY TEMPS FOR mALTA FOR 2006,7,8? wE ARE THINKING OF BEING IN mALTA IN OCTOBER and want to swim! What is water temp? Can you suggest and family accommodation for a family of four... boys 7,11? Thanks for your service

water in october would be around 20-21 degrees and still warm enough to swim. re accomodation there are so many choices depending on what you're looking for. hotel or self-catering, area, price range...it depends. if you narrow it down a bit i would be able to suggest a few places.

QUESTION: Thanks. Do you know where I can ind the historical temperatures. We are looking for a two bedroom appartment to sleep 4 in either Sliema or close to a beach eg Armir. How much is a car transfer from the airport? Can you also suggest a car hire company please?

Sorry but i don't know where you can find historical temperatures...i tried looking on the net but did not find anything. don't know of any apartments for rent but www.simonmamo.com might help you as they specialise in rentals.
re airport transfer, from the airport to sliema costs around Eur20.
Re car hire, i would go with the big names like hertz, budget or avis as they have offices at the airport.
