Question -
Im going to malta in aug, and using currency converters i noticed that 750 euro which is my currency works out to be about 320 maltese liri. i wanted to know will this trip be very expensive or the same sort of prices. im worried about what kind of funds i should bring
Answer -
hi kate
you did not tell me how long you'll be coming over for. if its a week than Lm320 should be more than enough for spending money, eating out, the usual sight seeing trips etc. even it its a 2 week holiday.
whey you say 'the same sort of prices'as where do you mean? malta is cheaper than most continental european countries. to give you an idea, cause this is my usual gauge when i travel, a capucchino is about eur1.40, all bus journes cost around Eur0.50c.
let me know what exactly you would like to achieve with your Eur750 and for how long an i will let you know if its enough or not.

Answer hi kate
well, i still think that Eur750 is enough for your plans. water sports can be a bit expensive though. for example hiring a jet ski for 15 minutes can easily cost you about Lm20. try dives cost around Lm15 and courses are over Lm100. credit cards are easily used all over here so to make sure i would get the cash in euros you are planning to get and have a credit card as a back up just in case.
